Empty Nest Cooking
Many, many years I have cooked for my husband, children and parents. Now my husband drives truck, he's gone all week. My children moved out to conquer the world. My mother passed away and my father moved. I find it extremely hard to cook without making huge portions of food. Who wants to eat the same thing all week long? Not me! All I can say is thank God for restaurants!

I agree. It is so hard to cook for one or two people. It doesn't even taste as good when you have to make a smaller portion. Amen to the restrurant solution, no cooking, no dishes, just a nice relaxing time enjoying a good meal.

I'm going to feel bad for my mother next year when I go off to college in Columbus, and she's stuck here cooking for herself. I will definitely miss her delicious meals too! :)
