In Reading Mike Adams essay “the Dead Grandmother / Exam Syndrome” he expresses his concerns for students losing family members . This is a hazardous health situation and mentally disturbing problem. Something needs to happen to stop the spread of relatives, especially grandmothers, from dying. I agree with Adams on this issue, the population will be extinct at this rate in the very near future.
The correlation between the higher grades and the lower death rate compared to the lower grades and the higher death rate show the picture. This makes it apparent that the students who do not do so well in school will make any excuse they can to get out of an exam. His solutions to the problem are unconventionally funny.
But I have to disagree with the whole essay. Last semester my mother-in-law passed away the second week of school. The week before exams my father-in-law passed and eleven hours later my brother’s wife passed. I seriously doubt that any of them worried about my exams.
